I've just started to knit and was having issues with the metal cable needles and the plastic wasn't much better. So when I saw these made of wood AND with notches and I just had to get them. I'm going to be getting another pair for certain as they still have them on Amazon. Definitely a good buy if you are struggling with other cable needles or just prefer wood.
